Born in Greece and raised in Turkey, Nurcan has lived in three different continents. Before moving to Singapore, she had worked as a marketing professional for more than than ten years and earned an MBA from the Carlson School of Management in USA. After she moved to Singapore, Nurcan’s passion in arts was ignited by the docent programme at Singapore Art Museum, where she eventually co-headed the Docent Training Programme. Her Masters in Asian Art Histories at LASALLE took her passion to an all new level with her thesis that explored the use of humour in Indonesian contemporary art. Now that she has moved back to United States, Nurcan is exploring a new venture that would draw upon her global network and utilise her passion in the arts.
