Luke Chua received his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English Literature from the National University of Singapore and currently works as an arts and culture administrator. His experience with art started when he became a docent at the Singapore Art Museum (SAM) and later at the National Gallery Singapore (NGS), both of which he continues to guide at. He holds a Master of Arts in Asian Art Histories and continues to pursue studies in this area. His main research interest is the role and significance of religion in contemporary Southeast Asian art. Beyond art, he is also intrigued by and spends a good portion of his time in linguistics, literature, film and theology.
