Lourdes has been collecting Southeast Asian Contemporary Art for many years and has curated a few exhibitions of private collections. Her interest in the art of the region led her to pursue an MA in Asian Art Histories. Her research focus is currently on video art from the Philippines. She previously worked in Brand Management and Marketing  and holds an MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She has lived in Singapore since 1998.
