Lin Chaohong, Vincent is an independent curator and art historian based in Singapore. With more than a decade of experience in the visual arts industry in Singapore, he specialises in traditional, modern and contemporary Chinese ink art forms, and Singapore modern art history. Lin has curated and written for several exhibitions in Singapore and China, with his most recent contribution of a monograph on the late Singaporean Chinese ink artist Maggie Lim Ting Ting (2018). He graduated from Singapore University of Social Sciences with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with Communications (Merit) in 2014, and from LASALLE College of the Arts with a MA Asian Art Histories in 2019. Lin is also a LASALLE Scholarship for MA Studies recipient. Besides investigating the reconstruction of ink as an art form in Singapore, he is also exploring and documenting Asian small-community experiences that influence artistic expression.
