Durriya Dohadwala graduated from the M.A. in Asian Art Histories programme and is currently an independent art writer covering South and Southeast Asia . Her research for her M.A. thesis was centered on the role of exhibitions in positioning contemporary art from emerging countries with a particular focus on contemporary Pakistani miniature art. Durriya has been actively involved in the area of art appreciation since 2007. She is a volunteer and board member of the non-profit art education charity, Art Outreach and a docent at the Singapore Art Museum. She also holds a MBA from the Institute of Business Administration, Pakistan and has worked with Caltex and FedEx as a financial analyst.
