Alison Marrinan volunteers as a docent at SAM and the National Gallery Singapore. She has an MBA (International Management) and previously worked in Australia as a clinical dietitian-nutritionist, holding an academic position managing a postgraduate training program for junior doctors in general practice. With her recently completed thesis, ‘Water and Power in Society through the Eco-Aesthetics of Contemporary Art in the Mekong Region’, Alison has incidentally combined her love for Southeast Asian art history with her concern for the health and well-being of others and the environment.
