Hafiiz Karim is a digital art director and an artist who has never allowed anything to get in between him and his dreams. He is a forward-thinking, driven individual with equally strong creative and technical skills. His academic interests revolve around exploring the implications of new media technologies is art and its relation to queer and feminist politics. This interest extends to his creative approach in his experimentations with photo-manipulation, digital painting, and glitch aesthetics. As a contributing artist in Balaclava.Q, an international queer art collective, Hafiiz has showcased his digital works in exhibitions like Retro Activo in San Juan (2018) and Wicked Gay Ways in Philadelphia (2016). He has also been featured in El Ichu, an online magazine that explores new styles and aesthetics is contemporary art. Locally, he has exhibited his work at Random Blends, an annual digital art exhibition at the ArtScience Museum (2016 and 2017).
